First Tests! Storm Skis
Storm Skis is the other half of the two U.K.-based ski companies born in 2008 ready to launch their brands for the 2009-2010 season.  We were lucky enough to catch Andy David from Storm and Olivier Renassia at Val-D'Isere and try three skis in the lineup. We have the review of the Rage park & pipe ski, the review of the Inferno Lab slalom carver (yes, a freeride company with a carving ski!), and the review of the Devastator Pro big mountain powder ski.  The skis are definite crowd-pleasers and will appeal to a wide range of skiers at a decent price.  We may see as many as ten models of skis by Storm when they launch into next season. The prototypes are on snow (we saw an blank-topsheet all-mountain ski in person) Check them out on-line or catch them at their home hill at Verbier, Switzerland.  Andy sent some cool photos of his skis in action.
