We've got some time on the Crop Duster  from Bill Wanrooy's EpicPlanks for a bunch of weeks now in Vermont, and his several years of refinement have created a really, really balanced powder ski with a very wide range of capabilities. Bill seems to have built a "classic" powder ski with nearly symmetrical tip and tail behaviors in a chassis that sits right between the soft-and-surfy and stiff-as-a-freight-train charging ski.  The Crop Duster will appeal to a huge range of soft-snow fanatics who don't want a ski designed at one extreme or other of the performance and personality spectrum, but gives a smooth, controlled, reliable and fun ride in a variety of three-dimensional snow.  The more you ski it, the more it grows on you, and the first runs are natural and require no learning curve.  We did not get to ride it in epic powder conditions, but deep enough to get the personality of the ski reviewed in depth (sorry for the pun...).
