We were able to get the review of Dave Mazzarella's Skilogik "Front Burner" 84mm-waisted frontside ski  (the companion to the Occam's Razor SL carver we reported earlier) posted, and we were pleasantly impressed with its superb grip and carving prowess on hardpack.  The Front Burner is the other half of Skilogik's "Race Room" collection, and allows both SL and GS style carving at a wide variety of speeds.  A classic race-carver with a damp, quiet, confidence-inspiring ride.  Plus, it looks very cool and is priced right at the same, if not lower price than many of the big brands.  The biggest problem is getting the ski back from different testers...they seem to want to keep it for days and days....Read more in the ExoticSkis.com review of SkiLogik's Front Burner.
